April Lockhart
April Lockhart, born in 1995 on July 4th July, began taking lessons on piano and guitar at age seven. Her interest in songwriting was awakened. April's first song was Different, which she wrote at the age of 12. At 14 April, she spent a lot of time writing lyrics and perfecting her musical skills. She began writing alongside her father at home in NY and LA within a short time. April also began incorporating various other topics relevant to the"Take my Hand song for some friends, such as peer-pressure problems and suicides among teenagers. Lockhart also has an ever-growing following as a lifestyle influencer and works for popular clean beauty company Ilia. She was born without a left hand. This makes her unique. But this isn't the only aspect that makes her unique. Because of this, her Instagram profile does not shy away from her handicap, however the focus isn't on it either. The message is? It's crucial to understand that we all have numerous faces. Our identities are varied and we are much greater than the bodies we wear. It's not my intention to let that determine me. I do not want to be a disability influencer where that's all I speak about since there are many different aspects to me Lockhart says via video from her residence in Nashville. The issue doesn't affect my everyday life. I carry on doing my job as normal and have come up with different ways of adapting. Because it's part of who I am and something worth talking about. Lockhart has been a great example to other women regarding self-acceptance. She admits that she has gone through phases of insecurity with her body and feeling uncomfortable wearing some clothing types that exposed her arms. She now wears whatever she likes. And she posts her photos on social media. To her, self-love was an extended process. This is true for everyone, no matter what their levels of anxiety. The people around you with that truly understand you and see into your heart are the ones you should be relying on to help you remember what you're worrying about.
