Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts was born in Atlanta on October 28, 1967 in the home of Betty Lou Bredemus and Walter Grady Roberts. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation living in Atlanta starting with her farmer great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts. Her father took keen interest from a young age in stage. In 1952, while an undergraduate at Emory University, he performed in several productions in Atlanta. While stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he was part of a military unit in the play of Betty Lou Bredemus. The two married in 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. After 1957, the couple resigned from the military and Walter entered Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. In 1960 the family moved from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the children's local Saturday morning television show Bum Bum and His Buddies the show they had funded. They founded an Actors and Writers Workshop in the same year, which ran for six years. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) as well as Julia (also known as Julie) throughout this time.
